This spacious one kanal house, I designed in Lahore, Cavalry Ground. The exterior is modern in straight lines. As you walk into the house, you have a feeling of calmness and warmth. Inside, the double height living room has a wall of windows that looks out to the trees in the front. A concrete and wooden staircase with a wooden handrail connects the floors. At the top of the stairs is a small sitting area for relaxing and gives a beautiful view of the ground floor. In the basement, an open plan living space was designed to allow for more sociable gatherings. There is also a bar and kitchen area with minimalist off white cabinets and a black ceiling to give a moody look. The overall project outlook is chic, comfortable, memorable and inspiring.
